PropFirms.co.za helps South African traders choose prop firms. Because trading decisions involve real money, we hold our content to clear standards. This page explains how we make money, how we keep our reviews independent, and how to report a mistake.
How we make money
We earn affiliate commissions when readers sign up with some of the firms we review. This doesn’t cost you anything extra, and sometimes our links include discounts. We don’t accept payment for reviews, rankings or ratings, and we don’t sell sponsored placements disguised as editorial content.
Editorial independence
- Ratings follow our published methodology.
- We review firms we don’t earn from, and we remove firms that close or stop paying, even when we earn from them.
- Firms don’t see or approve our reviews before publication.
Accuracy and sources
We check firm rules against each firm’s official website and help centre when we write or update a page, and we note when sources disagree. Where we rely on reports from other traders or publications, we say so. Each page shows who wrote it, who fact-checked it, and when it was last updated.
Not financial advice
Our content is for education and comparison only. Trading carries a high risk of loss, and most traders don’t pass prop firm evaluations. Consider your circumstances and speak with a qualified professional about tax and financial decisions.
Corrections
If you spot an error, email us with the page link and the correction. We review every report and update pages promptly, noting significant corrections on the page.
