Minimum trading day rules force you to trade on a set number of days before you can pass, even if you’ve already hit the profit target. Firms without them let you pass as soon as you reach the goal, which suits traders who find a few high-quality setups rather than trading daily.

What to look for
Other rules that replace it. Firms without minimum days often add a consistency or best-day rule instead.
Funded-account rules. No minimum days in the evaluation doesn’t mean none for payouts. Check qualifying-day rules for your first payout.
Inactivity limits. Many firms close accounts after 30 days without a trade.

Is passing in one day a good idea?
Passing quickly saves time, but a single big day often means oversized risk, and that habit breaches funded accounts. Many firms use consistency rules on funded accounts for exactly this reason. Read our guide to prop firm consistency rules.
Trading from South Africa
Forex traders get the most liquidity during the London–New York overlap, roughly 14:00–18:00 SAST in the Northern summer and 15:00–19:00 in winter. US index futures are busiest after the New York cash open at 15:30 or 16:30 SAST. Payouts are income for SARS, usually declared through provisional tax: see prop firm tax in South Africa.
