Pros

  • TradingView, MT4, MT5 and DXtrade
  • Many programs, from $39
  • Fee refunded on standard evaluations
  • EAs allowed on evaluations
  • On-demand first payout

Cons

  • 2026 reports of payout denials for 'latency arbitrage'
  • Rules differ a lot between programs
  • Some Two Phase variants now trail
  • Consistency rules on some funded accounts
  • Add-ons needed for 90% split

FXIFY launched in January 2023 and grew quickly on the back of its broker backing, wide platform choice and low entry prices. It offers more program variations than almost any competitor, including TradingView execution. The concern in 2026 is a cluster of trader reports of payouts denied after accusations of prohibited strategies.

Programs

FXIFY sells several evaluation types plus instant funding, and the rules differ significantly between them, so read the exact program you’re buying.

One Phase: a 10% target, 3% daily loss and 6% trailing maximum drawdown. The trailing drawdown locks at your starting balance once you’re 6% in profit or after a processed payout.

Two Phase: 10% then 5% targets. It now comes in several drawdown variants (for example Classic Static, Standard Trailing and Pro Static) with different prices, leverage and consistency rules. The Classic variant offers an 80% split with bi-weekly payouts or 100% with monthly payouts.

Three Phase: a lower-cost route with a 5% target in each phase, a 5% daily loss, a 10% maximum drawdown and minimum trading days per phase.

Lightning and Instant Funding: faster routes with tighter rules. EAs aren’t permitted on Instant accounts.

Pricing

Standard evaluations start at $39 for a $5,000 account, with fees refunded with your first payout. FXIFY runs frequent discount codes. Instant funding starts lower but carries tighter rules and a waiting period before the first payout.

Profit split and payouts

Most evaluations pay an 80% split by default, rising to 90% with an add-on; some programs reach 100%. The first payout on most programs is on demand, then roughly every 14 days. Some funded accounts apply a consistency rule, such as a best day of no more than 25% of profits in the payout period.

Payout concerns in 2026

Several traders reported in 2026 that FXIFY denied payouts after passing, citing “latency arbitrage” or prohibited strategies without detailed evidence, and in some cases refunded the fee but not the profit. Other traders report smooth payouts. We can’t verify individual cases, but the pattern is a reason to request a small payout early and to keep records of your trades.

Platforms and leverage

FXIFY supports MT4, MT5, DXtrade and TradingView. Standard leverage is up to 30:1, with higher leverage available as an add-on on some programs.

Trading FXIFY from South Africa

Can South Africans use FXIFY?

South Africans can buy FXIFY evaluations. Confirm eligibility for your program at checkout.

Paying the fee in rand

At an illustrative R18 per US dollar, the $5K evaluation at $39.00 costs about R702. Check today’s exchange rate and your card’s foreign transaction fee before you pay. Paying for an offshore service by card counts toward your annual offshore allowance under South African exchange control, which covers most traders’ challenge fees comfortably.

Getting paid in South Africa

Fees and payouts are in US dollars. Given the 2026 payout complaints, request a small first payout and keep full trade records.

Best trading hours in SAST

The London session opens at 09:00 or 10:00 SAST depending on UK daylight saving time, and the London–New York overlap runs through mid-afternoon, which suits South African traders who trade before or after work.

Tax on FXIFY payouts

SARS generally treats prop firm payouts as income, not capital gains, and you must declare them even though no tax is deducted. Because the income isn’t a salary, you’ll usually need to register as a provisional taxpayer and submit IRP6 returns, with payments due by the end of August and the end of February. Convert each payout to rand at the rate on the day you receive it, keep records of fees you’ve paid, and speak to a tax practitioner. This isn’t tax advice.

Regulation

FXIFY isn’t authorised by the FSCA. The FSCA supervises brokers and financial services providers, while prop firms that sell evaluations on simulated accounts generally fall outside its licensing. That’s legal for South Africans to use, but it means no FSCA complaint route or ombud cover if something goes wrong, so a firm’s track record matters.

Who FXIFY suits

FXIFY suits TradingView users and traders who want to choose exactly how their evaluation works. It’s less suitable for anyone who wants a single, stable rulebook, or who can’t afford uncertainty around payouts while the 2026 complaints remain unresolved.
